Purpose of the Award :
Anuragyam proffers Sir M. Visvesvaraya Award in memory of greatest Indian Engineer, Bharat Ratna Award holder, Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya on his birth anniversary. As we know, in India we celebrate Engineer’s Day on September 15, 2021.
Hence, Sir M. Visvesvaraya Award is a yearly award and will presented to the people associated with any disciplines of Engineering.
Eligibility :
One should contribute to high order of Indian Engineering and Technology society. One should be able to gather respect from the society and engineering community as well.
Criteria :
The nominee should be an eminent engineer from engineering teaching background/ innovator/ expert in engineering sciences/ a technologist of distinguished honor. One must have made significant contributions in one or more of the following:
1.Academic and scholarly achievements in any discipline of Engineering and Technology,
2.Outstanding research in engineering and technology and application
3.Outstanding achievements and contributions in the Indian industry, engineering services or engineering projects.
Nominations :
Nominations of engineers, engineer-scientists and technologists are invited for Anuragyam. The nominations are to be submitted through our Digital Platform only (email us : anuragyam.dst@gmail.com). The last date of receiving fully filled nomination forms is September 14, 2021..
Selection for the Award :
The Selection Committee will scrutinize the applications and will choose 3 Awards for Excellence and 12 awards for Appreciation for conferment of Sir M. Visvesvaraya Award for approval of the Award.
The Award shall carry E-Certificate.
Presentation of the Award :
The awardees will be requested to deliver an inspirational talk on their exciting engineering experiences during our Online Sessions of “Innovative Technology Talk’s”.
